Short Description: Observing and becoming aware of our automatic reactions, our false personality, etc.

Concept Points:
  • The object of Self-Observation is to enable us to chage ourselves. - We can not be changed unless we know what kind of person we are.
  • Must be un-critical.
  • Begin by watching for and observing something specific.
  • Self-Observation is to make us more conscious of ourselves, and this is the starting-point of the Work.
  • We have to obsere what we are saying, thinking, feeling, sensations we are having, how we are moving, etc.
